Effective as of September 10, 2026 · Jurisdiction: EU consumer law / Switzerland
If you are a consumer within the meaning of EU law (a person who concludes a contract for purposes outside their trade or profession), you have the right to withdraw from the PhotoVoc paid subscription contract within 14 days of concluding it, without giving any reason.
The 14-day period is observed if you send your withdrawal declaration before it expires.
You may withdraw by email to support@photovoc.online. State your email, the plan you purchased, and a clear intention to withdraw. We will confirm receipt.
You may use this sample text: “I wish to withdraw from the PhotoVoc subscription contract concluded on [date]. My name: … / email: ….”
PhotoVoc is not one-off downloadable digital content, but a digital service with personalized, continuous content — individual vocabulary sets, ongoing progress and features tailored to each user. The exemption under which consent to begin performance would fully extinguish the right of withdrawal therefore does not apply. The right of withdrawal lasts the full 14 days, even while you use the app.
Using the app (e.g. scanning beyond the free plan, additional quizzes, tests or writing) neither restricts nor reduces your right of withdrawal — on withdrawal we refund you the full amount paid regardless of whether and how you used the app.
On a valid withdrawal we will refund you the full amount paid without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we receive your declaration. We will use the same means of payment you used, unless you expressly agree otherwise.
The refund covers the entire amount paid for the subscription, regardless of how many days you used the app within the 14-day period. We do not charge any fee for a “started period”.
Swiss law does not provide a general right of withdrawal for digital service contracts to the same extent as EU law. However, PhotoVoc voluntarily grants this right to users resident in Switzerland — including the full refund of the amount paid described in section 4, on the same terms as for EU consumers.
To exercise withdrawal or for questions, write to support@photovoc.online.
